Phalanx Rings - Elevated Midi Rings

Discover our thoughtfully curated selection of phalanx rings, an essential item for your jewelry collection. Phalanx and midi rings are often referred to as the same thing and used interchangeably. However, they can have subtle differences based on the intricacy of their design and where you wear them on your finger.

A subtle piece when stacking rings together, you'll find midi rings have a more casual minimal style, making them versatile for laid-back daily wear. All APM rings are inspired by the elegant beauty and simplicity of the Côte d'Azur, and APM midi rings are the epitome of our fashion-forward designs. In contrast, phalanx rings offer more embellishments and intricate designs and are considered to be more elevated than the simplicity of traditional midi rings. The position of these rings on your finger can also differ. A midi ring would typically sit above the knuckle but can vary in stature and may be worn on any finger. Phalanx rings are a specific type of midi ring designed to sit precisely above the knuckle and be more of a statement ring.

In essence, while all phalanx rings can be considered midi rings, not all midi rings show the intricate designs that phalanx rings typically do.

Sizing for Midi Rings

When choosing your next perfect midi ring, you need to take care when sizing. They may differ from rings you own because, with midi or phalanx rings, you wear them on the middle of your finger closer to your knuckle. If you don't measure effectively, there's a chance your ring will likely fall off or be uncomfortable to wear because it is too tight.

Every hand and finger shape is unique; however, as a starting point, you should typically choose a midi ring size that is three to four sizes smaller than your usual ring size. A good approach is to take a ring you already own and measure down from there. It's important that midi rings fit snugly. Your hand can change shape based on the heat and humidity of your environment, so always measure it at room temperature for accuracy. Measuring at different times of the day helps ensure you find a consistent size. All APM boutiques offer professional sizing services in person. Additionally, you can view our ring size chart, which provides detailed instructions on how to measure correctly.
